1. Nature of the Platform
Second Shift is a managed domain expert marketplace connecting experienced financial practitioners with organizations building artificial intelligence systems. Second Shift facilitates project matching, evaluation task administration, and quality assurance.
2. No Employment or Placement Guarantee
Creating an expert profile or completing skills assessments does not create an employer-employee relationship and does not guarantee project assignments, accepted applications, or minimum earnings. Experts participate on an independent assignment basis.
3. Conflict of Interest Declaration
Professionals registering on Second Shift must confirm that their outside participation does not breach existing employment agreements, confidentiality covenants, or statutory professional ethics. Experts must not evaluate models developed by their current direct employer.
4. Regulatory Scope and Disclaimers
Evaluations performed on Second Shift constitute qualitative, human-in-the-loop engineering feedback. Deliverable reports do not constitute formal credit underwriting approval, statutory legal advice, regulatory compliance certification, or a warranty of AI system safety.
